Beyoncé and Billie Eilish among this year’s Oscars performers

The Oscars this year have lined up major stars like Beyonce to grace the ceremony.

The Academy Awards, are awards for artistic and technical merit in the film industry. They are regarded by many as the most prestigious and significant awards in the entertainment industry worldwide

The superstar singer, was among the performers announced yesterday (22 -03-2022) by the Academy.

She is nominated for Best Original Song for “Be Alive,” the theme from King Richard that was written by Dixson and Beyoncé. According to Variety magazine, it is claimed that producers have been working closely with Beyoncé’s team to plan a live satellite performance from tennis courts in Compton, California.

Others headed to the Oscars include Billie Eilish.

The 94th Academy Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, March 27
