CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti,’ has hit 1 billion streams on Spotify.

CKay’s, real name, Chukwuka Ekweani, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer signed to Warner Records. He released the song in 2019 and it got worldwide recognition mostly on the social media platform Tiktok.

It was off his first album ‘CKay The First’ album. ‘Love Nwantiti’ together with all its remixes have racked up a whopping 1 billion streams on the popular streaming platform.

The feat makes him the first Nigerian artiste to achieve the milestone with just a single song. CKay also became the first African artiste to accumulate 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify in the last year.
