‘Water And Garri’ Movie Release Date Announced.

Singer Tiwa Savage is set to hit the screen in her acting debut with the upcoming Nollywood drama “Water and Garri”.

The Nigerian movie will be premiering exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on the 10th of May 2024. It was originally shot in Cape Coast, Ghana.

The film follows Aisha, an ambitious fashion designer played by Savage, who returns to her Nigerian hometown after a decade in the United States following a family tragedy. Upon her return, Aisha finds her community vastly changed, grappling with increased violence and tension. As she confronts the ghosts of her past and the guilt she left behind, Aisha must navigate a complex web of family, friendships, and the challenges of her new reality.
