Tiwa Savage to Star in New Film ‘Water and Garri’.

Tiwa Savage just announced her debut in the new film dubbed ‘Water & Garri.’

Announcing the project, the pop star reckoned: “This has been over two years in the making and is probably one of the most adventurous, fulfilling things I’ve done. I feel blessed and honored not only to be making my debut as a lead actor but to have also executively produced this film.”

The film will air on Prime Video and is primed to air in over 240 countries.

‘Water and Garri’ is shot in Cape Coast, Ghana, and is directed by Meja Alabi. It depicts Savage as Aisha, a budding fashion designer based in America who, overcome by guilt, returns to her hometown.
