Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are said to be working on a “bunch” of fresh projects for Netflix.
The two dealt with a massive blowback in June 2023 by the streaming giant when their £15 million contract with the firm ended early in June 2023.
Netflix’s chief content officer Bela Bajaria has now revealed the pair are working on new projects, including ones that are “unscripted”.
She told a Netflix promotional event in Hollywood the couple “actually have a bunch (of projects) in development” under the banner of their Archewell Productions company.
Bela added they were working on “a couple of unscripted things”, which are thought to be documentaries, as well as a film and series. They are all said to be in “very early development”.
It was announced last year that Harry and Meghan had acquired the rights to the novel by Carley Fortune, which is set in Toronto where Meghan lived while filming the television drama ‘Suits’.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have so far released three programs via Netflix, with the couple’s ‘Harry and Meghan’ docuseries being the streaming company’s most successful documentary launch in December 2022.
The mum-of-two, who has son Archie, four, and daughter Lilibet, two, with Harry, has dropped hints about their future Netflix projects.
