Elsa Majimbo faces backlash online after calling out model Naomi Campbell.

Los Angeles-based Kenyan chess champion and comedian Elsa Majimbo has surprisingly removed her tweets and videos about her encounter with supermodel Naomi Campbell and the subsequent viral TikTok where she claimed to have been blackballed by the supermodel.

Elsa 22, explained her decision to delete the tweets in a statement posted on X;

“I stand by my words. Content in my decision. The tweets are deleted due to seeking peace, not fear. Y’all need to understand this is something that has happened since I was 19. My goal now is happiness,” Elsa tweeted.

The tweet in question followed Elsa’s earlier statement, where she shared details about meeting the British supermodel, the events that transpired, and their relationship. She went ahead to describe her friendship with the supermodel, narrating its history and the challenges it faced.

Elsa revealed how the situation with Naomi depressed her and led her to alcoholism at age 19.

After deleting her initial tweet, Elsa received both support and criticism from netizens.

Some commended her for speaking up against alleged mistreatment, while others cautioned about potential repercussions.
