Rihanna is the first female artiste to have ten songs hit one billion streams on Spotify.
She took to her Instagram to celebrate the milestone saying, “Bad gal bili. With no new album…lemme talk”.
The soon-to-be mother of two released her last album, Anti, in 2016.
The monumental achievement follows Rihanna’s viral SuperBowl LVII halftime performance, where the former Fenty CEO showed off her baby belly, revealing she was pregnant with her second child.
Rihanna debuted in the music industry with her hit single ‘Pon de Replay’. 2005 proved to be a bountiful year for the business mogul, with the singer’s first album, Music of the Sun, claiming the tenth spot on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
