December 20, 2024
Annie Wersching has died at the age of 45.
The actress, who was best known for her role as FBI agent Renee Walker in the TV series ’24’, passed away on Sunday (29/01/23) morning in Los Angeles following a battle with cancer.
Annie also appeared in the TV shows ‘Bosch’ and ‘Timeless’ and voiced the character of Tess in the popular video game ‘The Last of Us’.
She had been diagnosed with cancer in 2020 but continued to act with prominent roles in both ‘The Rookie’ and ‘Star Trek: Picard’.
Annie’s husband, actor Stephen Full, said in statement: “There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall. As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’ “
Annie is survived by her husband and sons Freddie, 12, and Ozzie and Archie, four.
