Dido Ali Raso at the helm of Pastoralists’ caucus

SakuMember of Parliament Hon. Dido Ali Raso has been elected patron of Pastoralist Parliamentary Group,
Hon. Raso is taking over from former Garissa Township MP Aden Duale who joined the executive as Cabinet Secretary for Defence.

The new patron Dido Ali thanked the PPG members for electing him as their overall leader.

“I am humbled and exceedingly grateful to the 102 members of the Pastoralist Parliamentary Group to have entrusted me with the leadership of this important grouping which is the largest caucus in the Kenyan Parliament. I am very grateful ” said the Saku MP Dido Raso.
The pastoral parliamentary group leadership now gives Raso an advantage of acting as the pastoralists’ kingpin as he eyes a bigger position in the 2027 successive politics.

Bashir Sheikh Abdullahi will serve as the Chairman of the PPG and Daniel Nanok Epuyo as the vice chairman.
