Harambee Stars will tomorrow Tuesday face Eritrea in the semifinals of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kampala, Uganda, starting 1.30 pm.
Stars hope to carry the group stages momentum into the semis tomorrow.
The team under coach Francis Kimanzi posted a perfect record in the group stages beating Tanzania, Sudan, and Zanzibar.
Kimanzi said on Monday that the team is set for the semis after enough rest and recovery time. “We have had enough time for recovery and we’re now set, hopefully, we will go all the way,” said Kimanzi.
Kimanzi who is very hopeful said his boys are fit and ready. “We don’t have any injury concerns at the moment. The team is fit and ready,” said the coach.
Harambee Stars will be looking to defend the title they last won in December 2017, in Machakos.
