Songbird Zuchu is the most subscribed artiste on YouTube in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The songstress who is signed under Wasafi records tops the list that also has some other notable names, among them Kenya’s Diana Bahati.

Zuchu has amassed a total of of 2.1 million subscribers just a few years into her career. Her fellow Tanzanian hitmaker Nandy is the only other musician on the list. The other 8 stars are all of Nigerain descent and include Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Snachi, Chidinma, Ada Ehi, Simi and Teni.

Ever since signing to Wasafi, Zuchu has had continental success and a string of hits like ‘Sukari,’ ‘Mwambieni’ and her new single ‘Fire.’
