Man charged over alleged attempt to defile 14-year-old girl

A man has been arraigned at the Marsabit Law Courts over allegations of attempting to defile a 14-year-old girl in Fora Doshe, North Horr, Marsabit County. The suspect, Tura Galgallo Bodha, is alleged to have committed the offence on October 12 before he was arrested the following day, October 13.
The suspect appeared before Senior principal Magistrate Edward Oboge on Thursday, October 15, where he denied the charges. He was released on a cash bail of 100,000 Kenyan shillings or a bond of 200,000 shillings.
The case is scheduled to come up for mention and hearing on October 22.
