Isiolo residents block highway to protest insecurity
Residents of Isiolo have blocked the main road in protest over rising cases of insecurity in the county.
The demonstrations disrupted transport along the Isiolo-Marsabit highway as residents called for action over increased cases of banditry and insecurity.
The protests came a day after 4 people, including two police officers, were killed in an ambush by suspected bandits in Gotu.
Chari Ward Member of County Assembly Abdulahi Golicha led the demonstrations to protest the killings and demand action over the incident.
