Man arraigned in court over attempted defilement of 9-year-old child

A man has been arraigned before a Marsabit court on allegations of attempting to defile a nine-year-old child in the Manyatta Konchora area of North Horr Sub-County.
The suspect, identified as Hoko Denge Dida, was arrested yesterday, September 8, and was presented in court today before Marsabit Chief Magistrate Edward Oboge.
Dida denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of KSh 50,000 or a bond of KSh 100,000 with a surety of a similar amount.
The case will be mentioned again tomorrow, when the court is expected to give further directions on the matter.
