160 NEW CWA MEMBERS FORMALLY RECEIVED IN WAMBA DEANERY

A total of 160 new members have been formally received into the Catholic Women Association (CWA) during the celebration of the Feast of St. Monica at St. Mary Immaculate Parish, Archers, in Wamba Deanery.

The new members made their commitment to serve God and contribute to the mission of the Church through prayer, service, unity and active participation in the life of the Church.

The celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Michael Lekasuyan, while Rev. Fr. Alphonce Kitheke delivered the homily, encouraging the women to remain steadfast in faith and persistent in prayer, particularly for their children and families.

Fr. Kitheke urged the women to remain united as mothers and to make prayer a central part of their family life. He encouraged them to continue praying for their children even when faced with difficulties, reminding them that perseverance in prayer is an important expression of faith.

He called on the women to draw inspiration from St. Monica, whose life demonstrated deep faith, patience and commitment to prayer. He encouraged them not to become discouraged but to continue trusting in God.

The occasion brought together CWA members and faithful in a spirit of thanksgiving, unity and prayer, as the women were encouraged to remain strong witnesses of Christ in their families and communities.
