Marsabit women representative urges students to focus on education

Marsabit Woman Representative Naomi Wako has urged students across the country to remain committed to their studies in order to secure a better future.

Speaking at Parliament Buildings during a meeting with students from Kings Vision Academy in Laisamis Constituency, who were on an educational tour of the National Assembly, Wako said academic excellence remains one of the most effective pathways to improving livelihoods and enabling young people to compete in the job market.

She encouraged learners to work hard and take advantage of educational opportunities available to them, noting that education plays a critical role in shaping successful careers and personal development.

Wako also called on teachers to continue providing quality education and instilling discipline among learners to help them achieve their academic goals.
