KCSE Exams

KNEC Chief Executive David Njengere announced that only examiners who demonstrate the highest levels of integrity will be retained for the marking of the KCSE exams. He stated that any examiner caught submitting false claims or attempting to defraud the council will be dismissed immediately.

Examiners from schools identified in previous KCSE irregularities have been removed from the 2025 marking roster, along with invigilators and supervisors from compromised centers. A total of 32,558 examiners will mark the KCSE across 40 centers, with all scripts undergoing rigorous double-checking and validation before final results are released.
