The former Marsabit County Commissioner Evans Achoki has been promoted to be the Regional Commissioner for Eastern. The current Eastern Regional Commissioner Isaiah Aregai Nakoru has been transferred to Western region.
The Rift Valley where George Natembeya was serving until his resignation has been given to Mohamed Ahmed Maalim who has is the County commissioner for Makueni.
William Kang’ethe Thuku is the new regional commissioner for Nairobi while the James Kyalo Kianda has been transferred to North Eastern from Nairobi.
Esther Wamuyu Maina is the new regional commissioner for Central having been transferred from Western. Her place in Western has been taken by Nakoru from Eastern.
Wilfred Agage Nyangwangwa who was the regional commissioner for Central has been transferred to the headquarters in Nairobi.
Nicodemus Ndalana who has been serving the North Eastern region has been sent to the headquarters too in Nairobi. His place has been taken by Kianda.
